Morobang Tshigidimisa

Data Engineer and Data Scientist based in Pretoria, South Africa, with an Honours degree in Computer Science and a BSc in Mathematical Science from the University of Limpopo. I combine a strong mathematical foundation with hands-on experience building production data systems — from cloud ETL pipelines and data warehouses to machine learning models deployed in real business environments. I hold two AWS certifications — Data Engineer – Associate and Cloud Practitioner — and have built systems including an AI-powered fraud detection and risk intelligence platform for a South African vehicle finance client, an end-to-end weather data pipeline covering all 257 SA municipalities, and a real-time sign language interpreter running entirely in the browser via ONNX Runtime. I work across the full data stack: Python, SQL, PySpark, XGBoost, LightGBM, AWS, Azure AI, Apache Airflow, Docker, and Databricks. I build things that work in production — not just in notebooks.
